Birds of a Feather, Flocks Together.

Mia needed a Blue Bird Costume for a micro mini play at school. Thanks heaps to the internet, I found a easy peasy bird wings. I found it here llevoelinvierno.If I can do it, so can anyone. The sewing machine has not been out for awhile, so, I got it going on the weekend & whip this up in an afternoon. I am so please with it & myself for the patience to make it.

It has been two weeks now since I got my new phone. There is allot for me to learn about it. So many apps too. My kids loves it more that I do. They are obsess with it. So far, games is what they play on it; Angry Bird(a must), Jelly Cars, Tap Zoo, Egg vs Chicken and City Story. I love Checkin  Map!, Facebook and my Emoji.

I can say the only down side to this is that, it does not fit into my pocket like my previous Nokia. Also I can't seem to find Draft in my Sms.. Other than that, LOVING it..

IKEA Expedit Shelves.

As this is my year of organising. I am always surfing the net to get inspiration. Thanks to all those people who kindly share their pictures online. Very talented people out there.

Old Photos.

I recently purchased a negative photo scanner(Q-Pix FS-170 Film/Slide Scanner)
. You would not get a better quality photos compare to the camera that is available now but I can say that with the help of photo enhancer on my iphoto, it helps abit. I purchase the scanner for a different reasons,

1. To get all the photos into a hard drive so that we can save keep it in our fireproof safe incase(touching wood here) that something catastrophic happens to our home. 
2. I want to do a photo book for each child
3. To organise myself & have photos up on walls.

So far, I am loving it. Its fast, quick & easy to use. Bought it in Officeworks for $92. One thing I found out though, you need a SD card that is in GB or else it would not read(learn from experience when I put a 128MB card in & it did not work.
